Today there is a change happening in the banking arena in Sao Paulo, where Banco Bradesco has announced there will be a new president. Currently the leader of Bradesco Seguros, Octavio de Lazari Junior, will take the position that Luiz Carlos Trabuco has on the executive board.
This will take place on March 12th, 2018, as a general meeting will be held as an introduction to the new president. Lazari’s father was a client who used his relationship with the manager to gain access for his son in his early years.
Luiz Trabuco clearly states that Lazari Junior must still work hard from the time he is voted into this new position according to estadao.com.br. Octavio Lazari mentioned his predecessors while conducting a press conference announcing the change of command. He stated that Bradesco will be the victor when all is said and done. Also he mentions many plans to continue the legacy that will be left by Mr. Brandao and Luiz Carlos Trabuco. The current choice for Trabuco’s replacement did not go as smoothly as it seems.
The personal winnings and successes of Lazari Junior are recognized by the company, and are deserving of all praise. From working in the Credit area in the 1990s, to later on becoming director. During this time he was responsible for the Corporate, Small, and Medium Business and Retail segments in regard to Bradesco. After becoming department director in 2010, he then moved on to the position of CEO in 2012. In 2017, Lazari Junior became executive director VP and President of Bradesco Seguros Group.

Last year saw growth in the banks financial sector, and there is still a major transition that is ongoing between Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi and Octavio de Lazari Junior. Many at the top are optimistic of the national economy for 2018, as recent production, increases, and a sense of well being make a tough argument for regime change. However, Lazari talks about how they definitely have to have a better year than the years prior.
Both Trabuco and Lazari know how important pension reform and the continuance of this review is for the future of not only Bradesco, but Brazil as a whole. Trabuco has championed pension programs over his long career in banking. His financial activities at Bradesco began officially on April 17, 1969 and he served as President of Bradesco Vida e Previdencia until 1998. Currently he is the CEO of Banco Bradesco S.A. and will stay in that position until March 12th. This is when the general meeting will be held in reference to the incoming CEO Lazari.
